To enhance its heat resistance, various heat treatment processes such as solution treatment, quenching, and annealing are commonly employed to improve the material’s grain boundary structure and grain size. It’s important to note that the heat resistance of 420 stainless steel is lower compared to other heat-resistant stainless steels, making it less suitable for high-temperature applications.
