GB/T8162 Seamless Steel Pipe description

GB/T8162 is a standard for seamless pipes, designed for use in general and mechanical structures. The parts produced from quenching and tempering of GB/T8162 seamless steel pipes exhibit excellent comprehensive mechanical properties and are extensively utilized in various critical structural components, particularly connecting rods, bolts, gears, and shafts operating under alternating loads. However, the surface hardness is relatively low and lacks wear resistance. To enhance the surface hardness of the parts, quenching and tempering, as well as surface quenching, can be employed.
